Allow Others To Grow

One day I was speaking with a friend an getting somewhat frustrated because we seemed to be getting nowhere fast. My friend had called me about a problem and from what she said I gathered, from all that she was saying, that she didn't know what else to do. The frustration came in when no matter what I told her to do (new ways to solve an old problem), she found a reason why she couldn't do it.

I felt an "Uggggh!!!!!" coming. I took a deep breath and then I heard:

The Master Prophet's words "you must give friends, family, or people room to act or live their path...every person grows at their own rate and in their own way".

In that moment my understanding was coupled with a live experience. I know some people just want a sounding board at times but time isn't a thing that you can get back so it must be spent wisely. Since that day I've been able to apply that teaching often.

So I ask you, are you allowing others to grow?
